THE ULTIMATE HOLIDAY SHOPPING GUIDE

Unless you are Mariah Carey or Micheal Bublé, this time of year can become very stressful, trying to find a gift for all the different people on your list. 

Let's take some of that stress out of your shopping trip. I’m sharing a list of thoughtful and trending gifts in various price ranges for some of the people on your list for the Holidays. 

Grandparents

  1. Low ($10–$30): Custom photo calendar with family pictures. - Vista Print | Canva | Shutterfly are great places to customize calendars for family + friends.

  2. Medium ($30–$100): Digital picture frame preloaded with family photos. - A great way to share and update photos check out this one on Amazon

  3. High ($100+): Comfortable reclining chair or massage cushion. - Anyone will be happy to relax in this super cozy massage chair.

Mom

  1. Low: Scented candle set or essential oils. - Make sure it’s a non - toxic candle. Any thing that says Beeswax, Coconut wax or soy wax are much better alternatives. Nothing that says wax blend.

  2. Medium: Spa day gift set or silk scarf. - For me, my mom is not a fan of spas, so silk scarf it is. Match the gift to the person :)

  3. High: High-quality jewelry or a luxurious skincare set. - Lancome is one of my favorite brands to shop skincare from because they cater to many skincare needs for people of all ages. This skincare set is a great place to start.

Dad

  1. Low: Personalized keychain or bottle opener. - Personalize it with a picture of your face since you are the favorite child anyway. They will love you even more!

  2. Medium: BBQ grill toolset or a premium leather wallet. - Maybe this year he will finally cycle out the one wallet he’s been using for years for a new one. Hugo Boss makes one of my favorite men’s wallets.

  3. High: Smartwatch or high-end Bluetooth speaker. - Some people can be very particular about their watch, so with this, my advice will be know your audience. If you are unsure, a blue tooth speaker will be great gift as well when they doing yard work or a jam out session.

Brother

  1. Low: Graphic tee or gaming mousepad. - If he is older, a new tie or some work shirts.

  2. Medium: Portable power bank or subscription to a streaming/gaming service - I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t be grateful for a free 1 year Netflix, Hulu or Youtube premium subscription.

  3. High: Noise-canceling headphones or a fitness tracker. - Fitness gadgets are always a great way for people to start off the new year.

Sister

  1. Low: Trendy makeup pouch or a cute mug - Beauty and skincare brands around this time of year ramp up their advertisements for shoppers like you. First find out if she is into a specific brand or item - K-Beauty, Glass skin, New makeup launches etc

  2. Medium: Jewelry organizer or high-quality hair styling tools. - Personally, I could never say no to additional jewelry storage. I would give me the perfect excuse to buy even more jewelry! This one, is a favorite to store watches, rings and necklaces individually.

  3. High: Designer handbag or luxury perfume. - I’ll die on this hill - know your audience. Don’t go splurging on an Hermes bag if she is a Gucci girlie.

In-Laws

  1. Low: Gourmet coffee or tea set. Loose leaf tea with healing qualities are the best. This wellness tea sampler from Heavenly Tea Leaves is really great for taste testing.

  2. Medium: Personalized cutting board or elegant plant decor. - Live plants have a lot of amazing health benefits indoors. Snake plants especially are very easily manageable.

  3. High: Premium wine set or a gift certificate to a nice restaurant.

Co-worker

  1. Low: Inspirational desk calendar or fancy pen set. - Desk calendars, planners and notepads are are all great for your desk neighbor. I love these planners from Anthropologie. They have a more vertical structure which allows me to create lists easily for my daily tasks.

  2. Medium: Insulated coffee tumbler or desk organizer. - Stanleys are the currently the most popular insulated containers currently. I’m sure your co-worker won’t mind something that will keep their tea piping hot for your 8-hours work day.

  3. High: E-gift card or high-end wireless earbuds. - Have you ever had to listen to someone typing on a clacking keyboard … on purpose? You may actually want to gift these to yourself to avoid having to listen to those tip-tap-typing all day long.

New Homeowner

  1. Low: Housewarming candle or potted plant.

  2. Medium: Personalized doormat or decorative wall art.

  3. High: High-quality kitchen appliance (e.g., air fryer, toaster oven). - Check first to find out what they have before buying a major appliance other wise a personalized blanket or towels is always a wonderful gift!

New Parent

  1. Low: Baby milestone blanket or teething toys.

  2. Medium: Baby carrier or diaper bag. Most parent’s will already have this. Always check with new parents to find out what they need first. While I was grateful for everything we received for my baby at the time, we received duplicates of so many clothes, books and toys that I could manage and ended up having to give some away.

  3. High: High-tech baby monitor or a subscription box for baby essentials.

College Student

  1. Low: Reusable water bottle or portable phone stand or charger

  2. Medium: Stylish backpack or desk lamp with charging ports.

  3. High: Laptop accessories (e.g., external hard drive, noise-canceling headphones).

Educational Professional

  1. Low: Personalized notepads or stylish pens.

  2. Medium: Desk organizer or motivational wall art.

  3. High: Ergonomic office chair or a gift card for classroom supplies.

Service Worker

  1. Low: Hand cream set or gift cards to a coffee shop.

  2. Medium: Insulated lunch bag or travel mug.

  3. High: Gift certificate to a massage or relaxation service.

Husband

  1. Low: Personalized wallet card or keychain.

  2. Medium: High-quality grooming kit or a favorite sports jersey.

Wife
